Tools, crimps, practice beads and stringing material will be provided. If you have a stringing project or beads in mind, you are welcome to bring them. If not, time is provided during class to shop. This class is a great way to explore the possibilities of basic stringing so you can begin creating your own look.

Knotting is a surprisingly simple and straight-forward skill. You’ll learn traditional knotting between each bead as well as spaced knotting (floating bead effect). You can bring beads and a clasp or choose beads during the break. Either way, we’ll help you select the right size stringing material. Tools, beads and practice silk are provided.

These wonderful informal bracelets are perfect for the fun days of summer. No experience is necessary. The first is a simple macrame', including the start and finish for a professional look. The second is a fun take on a simple crochet. Both styles are really popular right now with the leading designers and so easy and inexpensive to make. (Practice materials are provided)

Right Angle weave is a versatile stitch that can be used for making many types of jewelry. In this class you'll work on an elegant woven bracelet. Beginners are welcome. Bring 50 (1 strand) 4mm Czech fire polish beads and one tube of size 11 Japanese seed beads. Stringing material and needles are provided.

Capture a cabochon, cut stone, bead or button in a peyote stitch bezel. In this class you will learn how to create and mount a seed bead bezel as the focal point for a dazzling necklace or bracelet. Embellishment and closure techniques will be covered including fringe and peyote ball closures. Bring a cabochon, flat stone, bead or button and a length of ultra suede that fits all the way around it, 1 tube of "Delica" beads, a tube of size 11 and size 8 seed beads and at least 25, 3mm bicone beads. (Needles, glue and thread provided)

This is an extremely easy and versatile stitch with multiple variations that look complicated, but are not. In class we will cover stringing material, needles and findings. This is definitely an instant gratification stitch. Once you have mastered the pattern, it works up quickly and could be done while watching TV. Bring 2 tubes of either size 6 or 11 seed beads (your choice) and 1 tube of a contrasting color (same size). Stringing material and needles are provided.

In this class you will learn to cover a ring or bead entirely with a fabric stitched of right angle weave. These components can be incorporated into necklaces, earrings or bracelets in so many unique and interesting ways. The look is very modern and sophisticated and is relatively easy to do. (Practice beads, thread and rings are provided)

Multi-strand necklaces and bracelets are hot right now! If you've mastered stringing and crimping and want to take these techniques to a whole new level, this class is for you. In class, we'll cover several finishing techniques for multi-strand pieces with tips and tricks for bringing your strands together. This is a great follow-up to basic bead stringing. (Please bring at least 3 pre-strung strands to class)

This is a great class for the aspiring seed bead artist. You'll become familiarized with different beading threads, needles and a variety of seed beads. With this off-loom technique, you will make peyote stitch tubes you can then incorporate in a bracelet or necklace. Bring your own "Delica" beads, "Nymo" size D (preferred) or size B, along with size 12 needles.
